Eat These 3 Foods to Help You with Quick Weight Loss

Did you know that you can actually lose weight by eating? I can only imagine your reaction, there are such foods will help you to shed some weight. I will tell you of three such foods that will help you lose weight in the remainder if this article. So indulge me and just read this article to understand what I mean!

1. Olive Oil: Replace your fatty oil with olive oil. Olive oil contains mostly the 'good fats' or unsaturated fat. Why is that important? Well, unsaturated fats help to suppress you appetite for one thing. Another advantage is that it also fights cholesterol. In short, olive oil in general is so much better for you.

2. Lean meats: Lean chicken meat is one of the best weight loss foods you can ever have! Why you ask? Well, it contains very little fat and a lot of protein. As you may know, protein builds lean muscles which in turn accelerates you metabolism and helps you burn fat.

If you don't like chicken, then turkey breast will work as well! Just remember that the key is to choose lean meats only versus going for the red meats!

Fishes are also very good for quick weight loss. A variety of fishes such as salmon and tuna contain Omega-3 fatty acids which fall in the category of 'good fats' or unsaturated fats. Leptin is a hormone that causes you to gain weight because it triggers you body to store fat. Omega-3 fatty acids affect the amount of leptin present in your body. By cutting them down, you are bound to lose weight!

3. Berries. Another excellent weight loss food is berries. Since there are so many different kinds, I am sure you can find one that is satisfactory to you. Blackberries, blueberries and strawberries are some examples. All of them will help you with weight loss in one or the other way. Among the berries, strawberry is particularly good: it not only tastes good, but also helps in suppressing your appetite. Getting those hunger pangs under control goes a long way in helping you to eat less and achieve your weight loss goals.

Many people tend to starve themselves when they want to lose weight. As you can see, that is not necessary nor will it provide you with lasting results. Try eating the right foods instead and you will not only lose weight but also become healthy. The foods I mentioned above are also rich in vitamins and antioxidants.

I've mentioned three foods that are helpful in your weight loss efforts, but there are many more. If you do a search on the internet, you will find others such as oatmeal, nuts, eggs and almonds.
