3. A healthy diet. To build a well toned body with those six pack abs you want, you need to stay away from junk food and eat a healthy, well balanced diet - this will let your body perform at peak capacity.

4. Use the right workout plan. This is probably the most important factor. While exercise is great for you, you need to be getting the right kind of workouts if you want to build those ripped 6 pack abs. 5. Lose your old habits. If you drink, smoke or both you need to give it up. This will help you build those six pack abs. 6. Water. Getting enough water is vital. Drink eight to ten glasses of water a day. When you work out, you lose a lot of moisture, so proper hydration is important. Drinking enough water keeps your body working properly and detoxes your system.

7. Sleep. You need plenty of rest - this is when your body recovers and builds new muscle tissue. Get enough sleep every night so that you'll be energetic and ready for your next workout.
